| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Charles "Chuck" P. Ackman of Marengo, who |
| 4 | | passed away on January 28, 2017 at the age of 81; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Charles Ackman was born in Belvidere to LeRoy |
| 6 | | "Trip" and Frances (Redpath) Ackman on May 12, 1935; he married |
| 7 | | Reney Burke in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 20, 1974; and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Charles Ackman was the past president of Marengo |
| 9 | | State Bank, Suburban State Bank, and the Marengo Chamber of |
| 10 | | Commerce; he was also a Marengo Little League Coach; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Charles Ackman is survived by his wife, Reney; his |
| 12 | | daughter, Vicky (Mike) Clifford; his son, Charles "Chip" (Lisa) |
| 13 | | Ackman; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and his |
| 14 | | brother, Richard "Dick" (Peggy) Ackman; therefore, be it

| 15 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL |
| 16 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 17 | | Charles P. Ackman, and extend our sincere condolences to his |
| 18 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it |
