| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Kathryn "Kay" (Freedman) Ritter, who |
| 4 | | passed away on January 1, 2017; and

| 5 | | WHEREAS, Kathryn Ritter was born on April 8, 1921; and
|
| 6 | | WHEREAS, Kathryn Ritter was preceded in death by her |
| 7 | | husband, Louis Ritter; and
|
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Kathryn Ritter was the loving mother of Gerald |
| 9 | | (Robin) Ritter, Deborah Ritter, Kenneth (Katherine) Ritter, |
| 10 | | and Susan Ritter; the cherished grandmother of Cathy, Michael |
| 11 | | (Vivian), Leah (Ronald), Aaron, Elliott, and Samuel; the adored |
| 12 | | great-grandmother of Brett, Carson, Logan, and Sophia; and the |
| 13 | | fond sister-in-law, aunt, and friend to many; therefore, be it
|
| 14 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL |
| 15 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 16 | | Kathryn "Kay" Ritter, and extend our sincere condolences to her |
| 17 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it |
