| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Barbara J. Preble of Joliet, who passed |
| 4 | | away on January 1, 2017 at the age of 94; and

| 5 | | WHEREAS, Barbara Preble was born in Morris to Clyde and |
| 6 | | Mabel (Brayton) Kilmer; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Barbara Preble was a registered nurse at Silver |
| 8 | | Cross Hospital with 60 years of service, 30 of those years as a |
| 9 | | volunteer; she enjoyed sewing, knitting, baking, and reading; |
| 10 | | and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Barbara Preble was preceded in death by her |
| 12 | | parents; her husband, William; and her daughter, Jean Preble; |
| 13 | | and
|
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Barbara Preble is survived by her five children, |
| 15 | | Gail Bjekich, Chris (Pam) Preble, Ann (Dwight) Wernecke, Sue |
| 16 | | Whyte, and Lynn (Dan) Pavnica; her 12 grandchildren, Mandy |
