AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 353




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 353 by replacing 
3everything after the enacting clause with the following:

 
4    "Section 5. The Illinois Public Aid Code is amended  by 
5adding Section 5-5.05a as follows:
 
6    (305 ILCS 5/5-5.05a new)
7    Sec. 5-5.05a. Reimbursement rates; community mental health 
8centers.
9    (a) Notwithstanding the provisions of any other law, 
10reimbursement rates, including enhanced payment rates and rate 
11add-ons, for psychiatric and behavioral health services 
12provided in or by community mental health centers licensed or 
13certified by the Department of Human Services shall be no lower 
14than 95% of the Medicare program's rates for the following 
15codes: 90791 UB,  90792 UB, 90832 UB, 90833 UB, 90834 UB, 90836 
16UB, 90837 UB, 90838 UB, 90839 UB, 90847 UB, 90870 UB, H0004 HO,

1H0034, H0039, H2011, H2015 HE HN, H2015 HT, H0031 TG, H0031, 
2H0031 HN, H0031 HO, and H2010.
3    (b) With respect to managed care organizations and their 
4subcontracted provider agreements, the  level of reimbursement 
5to providers for psychiatric and behavioral health services 
6shall be equal to at least the rates established under 
7subsection (a). 

 
8    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 
92019.".
