HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate Irving "Irv" Loundy, who 
4has vigorously and professionally served the community-banking 
5profession for 60 years; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Irving Loundy has tirelessly advanced and 
7progressively served the needs of his customers wherever 
8possible; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Irving Loundy has been an important partner to 
10many Rogers Park civic organizations including, but not limited 
11to, the West Rogers Park Economic Development Committee, the 
12West Ridge Chamber of Commerce, the 24th District Police 
13Advisory Committee, the West Ridge Community Organization, and 
14the Rogers Park Builders Group; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, As in the mission of the Community Bankers 
16Association of Illinois, Irving Loundy has been dedicated to 
17keeping community banks competitive for the benefit of their 
18customers and the communities they serve through delivery of 
19quality education, effective representation, and essential 
20products and services; and
  
 
  
21    WHEREAS, Irving Loundy's contributions to the economic

1vitality of the City of Chicago and his continuing dedication 
2to fulfilling the credit needs of citizens of the Rogers Park 
3area are highly commendable; therefore, be it
  
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
5HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
6congratulate Irving Loundy on his 60th anniversary in the 
7banking profession, and we wish him many more wonderful years; 
8and be it further
  
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
10presented to Irving Loundy as a symbol of our esteem and 
11respect.
