| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives wish to recognize Dr. Steven M. Rock for his |
| 4 | | extraordinary efforts in serving the
State of Illinois and its |
| 5 | | higher-education community; and
|
| 6 | | WHEREAS, Dr. Rock has been serving Illinois as a member of |
| 7 | | the
Faculty Advisory Council and the Board of Trustees of the |
| 8 | | State Universities
Retirement System; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Dr. Rock has been a stalwart champion for all |
| 10 | | postsecondary education
stakeholders across our State; and

| 11 | | WHEREAS, In his capacity as professor of economics and |
| 12 | | decision sciences for over 30 years, Dr.
Rock has generously |
| 13 | | shared his knowledge, expertise, and wisdom with all who

| 14 | | crossed his classroom threshold; and
|
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Dr. Rock has faithfully and actively promoted key |
| 16 | | education-related initiatives that
ensured student success to |
| 17 | | both the General Assembly and related government
agencies; |
