| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Louise | ||||||
| 4 | Pendleton, who passed away on May 4, 2017; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Louise Pendleton was born in Hernado, Mississippi | ||||||
| 6 | to Jim
and Mary (Wooten) Newson on July 14, 1935; she grew up | ||||||
| 7 | in Coldwater, Mississippi, where she received her formal | ||||||
| 8 | education and was a member of the Church of Christ; she moved | ||||||
| 9 | to Memphis, Tennessee, where she married Gaston Wilson Sr.; she | ||||||
| 10 | later moved to Chicago, where she married Sidney
Pendleton; in | ||||||
| 11 | 1971, she moved to Pembroke Township to raise her children; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, Louise Pendleton was employed at various | ||||||
| 13 | companies; her most recent job was with Catholic Charities, | ||||||
| 14 | where
she enjoyed serving others; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, Louise Pendleton enjoyed spending time with her | ||||||
| 16 | family, working outside in
her garden and yard, playing board | ||||||
| 17 | and card games, and traveling to visit relatives; and
| ||||||
| 18 | WHEREAS, Louise Pendleton was preceded in death by her | ||||||
| 19 | parents; four siblings; and her first husband, Gaston Wilson | ||||||
| 20 | Sr.; and

| 15 | mourn the passing of Louise Pendleton, and extend our sincere | ||||||
| 16 | condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved | ||||||
