HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The University of Illinois is one of the world's 
3best research institutions; and
  
 
4    WHEREAS, The University has campuses located in Chicago, 
5Urbana-Champaign, and Springfield; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Undergraduate students at all three campuses 
7engage in research on cutting-edge topics under the guidance of 
8their professors; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Thirty of these students will be making poster 
10presentations about their research on April 25, 2017 in the 
11State Capitol at the fourth University of Illinois 
12Undergraduate Research Day; and

  
 
13    WHEREAS, The students have received excellent guidance 
14from the staff and faculty of the three campuses in preparation 
15for this day, such as Keenan Dungey, Sara Hall, Karen Ann 
16Rodriguez, Thomas Moss, Joan Sestak, and Frances Shen; 
17therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
19HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
20extend our congratulations to all University of Illinois

2inquisitiveness; and be it further
  
 
3    RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be 
4presented to University of Illinois at Chicago Chancellor 
5Michael Amiridis, University of Illinois at Springfield 
6Chancellor Susan Koch, and University of Illinois at 
7Urbana-Champaign  Chancellor Robert Jones.
