| 4 | | "Mimi" Ann Bever Browning, who passed away on March 8, 2017; |

| 6 | | WHEREAS, Mimi Browning was born in Madison, Wisconsin to |
| 7 | | Wayne and Velma (Myers) Bever on December 11, 1937; she was |
| 8 | | raised in Champaign and baptized on April 9, 1944 at First |
| 9 | | Presbyterian Church; she graduated from Champaign High School |
| 10 | | and the University of Illinois in 1958 with a Bachelor of Arts |
| 11 | | in Home Economics in the College of Agriculture, where she |
| 12 | | pledged the Pi Beta Phi sorority; she married Walter "Bud" |
| 13 | | Browning on June 20, 1960; and
|
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Mimi Browning and her husband lived in |
| 15 | | Schenectady, New York and Cleveland, Ohio before returning to |
| 16 | | Illinois; she was active in her children's schools, where she |
| 17 | | was a room mother, baseball team mom, and an advocate for the |
| 18 | | arts; and
|
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Mimi Browning worked at a sewing store, and in |
| 20 | | 1983, started a 33-year career as a travel agent in Chicago; |
| 21 | | she enjoyed traveling herself and visited France, Spain, |
| 22 | | England, Germany, Turkey, Thailand, and China; with the |
