| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of J. Glenn |
| 4 | | Schneider of Naperville, who passed away on February 13, 2017; |
| 5 | | and

| 6 | | WHEREAS, Glenn Schneider was born in Chicago to John and |
| 7 | | Emily (Fehlberg) Schneider on September 30, 1935; he served in |
| 8 | | the United States Air Force and met his wife-to-be, Kathy, in |
| 9 | | 1982; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Glenn Schneider taught at Naperville North High |
| 11 | | School for 32 years; he served as a State Representative for 12 |
| 12 | | years, a Naperville City Councilman, and a lobbyist; he worked |
| 13 | | with both Democrats and Republicans and attended a state |
| 14 | | Constitutional Convention; and
|
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Glenn Schneider enjoyed the theater, music, |
| 16 | | sports, reading, having coffee, traveling, and attending |
| 17 | | family events; and
|
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Glenn Schneider was preceded in death by his |
| 19 | | parents; his stepmother, Margaret Killeen; his brothers, |
| 20 | | William and James (Judy) Schneider; and his sister, Elloise |
| 21 | | (Edwin) McKee; and
