| 2 | | WHEREAS, During the 99th General Assembly, House |
| 3 | | Resolution 892 (HCA2) created the Success by 25 Task Force to |
| 4 | | identify programs that may be beneficial to young adults

| 5 | | between the ages of 18 and 21 who are in the care of the
|
| 6 | | Illinois Department of Children and Family Services and to |
| 7 | | examine new programs and laws for young
adults between the ages |
| 8 | | of 21 and 25 who were formerly in the
care of the Illinois |
| 9 | | Department of Children and Family Services
to ensure their |
| 10 | | continued success for independent living; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, The Success by 25 Task Force was to report its |
| 12 | | findings and recommendations to the General Assembly by |
| 13 | | December 31, 2016; and
|
| 14 | | WHEREAS, The Success by 25 Task Force needs additional time |
| 15 | | to complete its work; therefore, be it
|
| 16 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE |
| 17 | | HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that the |
| 18 | | Success by 25 Task Force shall report its findings and |
| 19 | | recommendations as required by House Resolution 892 (HCA2) of |
| 20 | | the 99th General Assembly no later than December 31, 2017; and |
| 21 | | be it further
