Amends the Department of Revenue Law of the
Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Provides that, subject to appropriation, the Department shall establish a rebate program for the purchase of emissions-free electric motorcycles in the State. Provides that the rebate amount shall not exceed $900 per motorcycle. Effective July 1, 2018.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Department of Revenue Law of the

| 6 | | 2505-805 as follows: |

| 8 | | Sec. 2505-805. Emissions-free electric motorcycle rebate |
| 9 | | program. Subject to appropriation, on and after July 1, 2018, |
| 10 | | the Department shall establish a rebate program for the |
| 11 | | purchase of emissions-free electric motorcycles in the State. |
| 12 | | The rebate amount shall not exceed $900 per motorcycle. The |
| 13 | | Department may adopt rules for the purpose of administering the |
| 14 | | program under this Section.

| 15 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, |
| 16 | | 2018.
