<synopsistitle></synopsistitle>
<reference>5 ILCS 420/3-203</reference><aliasreference>from Ch. 127, par. 603-203</aliasreference><SynopsisText>Amends the Illinois Governmental Ethics Act. Provides that when a legislator chooses to take official action on a matter despite the existence of a conflict, he or she must notify the members of the chamber to which he or she has been elected of the existence of the conflict by filing a written notice describing the conflict with the Secretary of the Senate or the Clerk of the House of Representatives, whichever is applicable. Provides that, upon receiving such a notification, the Secretary or the Clerk, whichever is applicable, shall forward a copy of the notification to the Legislative Information System for posting on the General Assembly's website with the applicable matter.</SynopsisText></synopsis>
